It’s in one of the region’s most beloved beaches with an unbeatable location; the iconic circa 1946 brick building has been popular with locals since its opening.
It conjointly encompasses a 1858sqm Art movement vogue property that features expansive verandas overlooking Merewether surf beach, minutes from Newcastle CBD.
Plans on its Operations
Peter Lazarus, who played a vital role in the $6.5 million renovations of the Shoal Bay Country Club, will officially take over the club’s day-to-day activities.
The Beach Hotel will also be marketed by Deane of Moore & Moore Real Estate in conjunction with Mike Wheatley of Knight Frank.
After acquiring it, the family plans to refurbish but wants time to engage with the community and architects before making decisions.
